Tower of God is an anime based on a webtoon that has captivated audiences worldwide. Despite this, Tower of God Season 3 is still missing. Where is the eagerly awaited sequel?
The rise of webtoons in recent years has been undeniable. Alongside Solo Leveling, Tower of God is one of the most popular series to emerge from the Korean comics craze. It’s no surprise, then, that Tower of God was quickly adapted into an anime. After two seasons, however, fans are now wondering when the journey will continue.
Where is Tower of God Season 3?
As mentioned, Tower of God has been given two seasons. The last season aired in December 2024. That’s been quite some time, which is relatively unusual for anime series based on such a popular comic book source material.
Ratings on platforms like IMDb and MyAnimeList indicate that the anime was very well received by viewers. Reportedly, the second season was even a greater financial success than the first. It’s all the more confusing, then, that Tower of God Season 3 is taking so long to arrive. Will the sequel even be announced?
This question is difficult to answer. What is certain is that the chances currently seem rather slim. However, it’s important to note that Tower of God Season 3 hasn’t been canceled. So, all possibilities are still open. We’ll keep you updated and will update this article should any relevant news emerge.
Tower of God Season 3: Possible Release Date
Tower of God Season 3 hasn’t been officially announced yet. But that doesn’t stop us from speculating about a possible release date. If the new episodes are announced, we probably won’t have to wait long – just like with the first two seasons.
Considering that the third season of the fantasy anime is eagerly anticipated, we think a release between 2027 and 2028 is realistic. However, this only happens if the production is confirmed promptly – for example with a visual or a teaser trailer.
The Best Anime Like Tower of God
Tower of God fans currently have to be patient. Until Season 3 is hopefully announced, you can pass the time with anime similar to Tower of God. There are actually quite a few. These series offer similar fantasy worlds, heroic characters, and adventure stories:
Hunter x Hunter (2011)
Hunter x Hunter is now considered an absolute classic. The anime is based on the successful manga series by Yoshihiro Togashi and tells the story of Gon, a young “Hunter” who desperately wants to find his father. To do so, he must embark on a dangerous adventure and makes many new acquaintances – including not only good friends but also powerful enemies. Hunter x Hunter Season 7 ist yet to be announced.

Until one day, a miracle occurs.
